She was a HP fanfic writer? Such a small world. You should get her books. Most certainly. :P

Yeah - she was massively popular in that fandom. Like legendary. She wrote a series of fics called The Draco Trilogy and it was just insane around her but when she got her publishing deal she, wisely, moved away from all that drama. I mean the HP fandom is maybe not as insane as the Twihards now, but for a while there it was vicious (I think FF actually banned thread numbers on their shipper threads for a while because of the wars that went on lol) and there was a massive backlash by other factions against her by the other side who saw her as some sort of heretic for getting so much attention whilst writing UC stuff. The drama was crazy and very soap operay but I'm not going to lie, it was kinda entertaining.

She also wrote LotR fic, which was good but it was her HP stuff that she was mostly known for.
